Photowalk 8/23/2008

For the first time, I participated on a PhotoWalk and it was great! Over 6,000 people from countries all over the world registered to participate in Scott Kelby's first-ever worldwide Photo Walk. It was in celebration of his new Lightroom 2 book. I participated in the Chinatown, NYC walk and Brooklyn Bridge, NYC walk.

These images were made at the Silver Lake and Clove Lake parks in Staten Island. I enjoy making images of nature.

 
Now this one here was a beautiful mistake, I tried not to shake the camera but couldn't keep it steady. For a while I kept going back and forth devating whether I should keep it or not. Now I've grown to like it.

Photoshop minor retouch

 
I took this photo at the beach and after I came home I noticed that the pole was in the way. Rather than going back and retaking the shot, I simply use my Photoshop skills to remove the pole.

 
As you can see the pole has been removed making the image look much beter.
